Several elected officials including environmentalists and socialists have created this weekend in Erdeven (Morbihan) movement "Together on our territories", which has the ambition to promote the "ecological and social gathering" in the municipal elections in March, announced Monday in AFP ecologist Senator Ronan Dantec.

Around 200 people participated in conferences over the weekend, with star guests - without integration in the movement - the MP for Public Place Raphaël Glucksmann and the former Socialist Minister Marylise Lebranchu.

14 members were appointed to the office of the new formation, with as president the Senator EELV of Loire-Atlantique Ronan Dantec, the regional advisers PS of New-Aquitaine Anne-Laure Bedu and Brittany Maxime Picard or the former MEP of Generations Isabelle Thomas.

"We are not trying to recreate the cartel of the left," said Ronan Dantec at the origin of this initiative. It is a movement "clearly regionalist", "attached to Europe", with the primary objective of promoting "the ecological and social gathering" and the conquest "of small and medium cities", he said added.

"Urgency of the ecological transition", participative democracy, "rebalancing" between metropolis and territories to "fight against the territorial divide", "maintenance of public services" and "support to employment" are some of the priorities of "Together in our territories, "Dantec reported.

"You have to be able to go beyond the apparatus," he pleaded, confiding his lack of enthusiasm for the EELV congress at the end of November because according to him, the stakes "go beyond the framework of the classical ecologists".
