"The prosecutor's office of the Saratov region, together with the territorial department of state road supervision, organized an audit of compliance with road safety laws regarding the carrier whose bus got into an accident today in the Nizhny Novgorod region," the RIA Novosti supervisory agency reports.

According to the agency, the bus transported tourists from Saratov to Bolshoy Boldino, where the Pushkin Museum-Reserve is located.

Earlier it was reported that the bus capsized in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The incident occurred in the Gaginsky district near the village of Panovo-Osanovo.
