A completely new exhibition has taken place at the Museum of Work in Norrköping. The exhibition focuses on robots and the question of cracks is what role robots will play in the future.

- We see that robots will affect both work and everyday life in the future, and this will be a major generation issue in the coming years. Therefore, we see it as an important thing to investigate how it will affect us as individuals and society at large, says Andreas Nilsson, project manager for the exhibition.

The main attraction of the exhibition is the social robot Furhat, which is developed in Sweden. Furhat is already used on tests today to, for example, contribute to open-minded recruitment, to train psychologists and as receptionists. Social robots can also be used in elderly care and can reduce loneliness.

- Furhat is a social robot that is at the forefront. We have worked with researchers who have developed this robot and here you can test yourself and see what you think about this social robot. Then you have to think about what you think it might be important for in the future, says Louise Zejlon, museum educator.

A large part of the exhibition also consists of a historical depiction of the robot and how we humans have seen it.

- We were afraid of steam machines and of that kind of technology 200 years ago and we are afraid of the changes in technology today. We've made this kind of change before. But it is important to consider what the technology has to say and on what conditions.

The exhibition will be on display at the Work Museum in Norrköping.
