The first alarm came a quarter to ten on Saturday evening, when a car in a carport was in flames. The second alarm came three quarters later and a few kilometers away, on Ingenjörsvägen.
"There were four cars involved and the fire spread to the carport," says Sabine Höglund, internal commander at the Rescue Service in Oskarshamn.
It is currently unknown if the two fires are related, but the police will investigate the incidents - a preliminary investigation into serious damage has been initiated.
Police write on their website that no one should be physically injured after the fires.
