Spaniard Marc Marquez (Honda) won a sixth MotoGP World title on Sunday by winning the Thai Motorcycle Grand Prix ahead of France's Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha-SRT) after an intense battle.
Marquez, 26, has assured in beauty his 6th title in the queen category, the 8th with the categories Moto2 and Moto3. This is his fourth consecutive title. As for Quartararo, who was in pole position, he still failed to win a first victory for his inaugural MotoGP season, but at the age of 20, he is one of the best current drivers on the field.
