by Tiziana Di Giovannandrea October 6th 2019The personalities of the worker who stabbed the ex-partner at 2:00 am were announced. The man is called Maurizio Quattrocchi, a 47-year-old Italian native of Sicily. The victim Zinaida Solonari, a 36-year-old Moldavian woman, was killed with two stab wounds in the chest and chest that did not leave a chance, despite the doctors' immediate arrival on the spot.

Zina, as those who knew her called her, had gone to live at her sister's house, because of the constant quarrels with her spouse, together with the three daughters of 8, 12 and 16 years - the latter was born from a previous relationship - and he was coming home after his shift at a local restaurant. The crime occurred outside the home of his sister in Cologno al Serio, in the province of Bergamo.

Quattrocchi after the crime escaped on a "Peugeot 207 clear gray or sugar paper", as the law enforcement authorities have known in a note.

The murderer is still actively sought by the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Treviglio and the Provincial Investigative Unit of Bergamo who have set up checkpoints and search lines throughout the area around Cologno al Serio (Bergamo) where the murder took place , including the arterial roads that lead out of the city. Inspections and research also in public transport and railways stations.

"We have activated a search device throughout the Bergamo area and beyond. Research will continue until we have found Maurizio Quattrocchi. At the moment we cannot exclude any possibility of his fate ", said the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri in Bergamo, Colonel Paolo Storoni, who coordinates the investigation into the murder.
