Expo 2020 hosts 1 million school visits

HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum thanked the Ministry of Education and the private educational institutions for their commitment to support Expo 2020 and its goals in establishing a sustainable legacy for future generations. The Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General of the Expo 2020 Dubai Office, Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashimi and the Minister of State for Public Education Jamila Bint Salem Al-Muhairi signed a Memorandum of Understanding between Expo 2020 and the Ministry. The leaders of the private educational institutions expressed their aspiration to work closely with Expo 2020 Dubai and its school program, given the importance of the international event and its compatibility with the educational mission of these institutions and response to their educational and academic aspirations.

The school ticket costs Dhs 50 per student per trip, and schools are allowed to register via their own booking system that will be ready by the end of 2019.

The first international Expo in the Arab world

Expo 2020 Dubai will be the first international Expo in the Arab world, bringing together millions of visitors from around the world in a celebration of innovation, creativity, culture and entertainment.
