At 08.00 on Sunday morning, the doors of Danderyds Hospital's new emergency room will be opened on Entrévägen 4. At the same time, the old reception will be closed.

The new reception will receive 95,0000 patients per year. It is expected to provide better care to severely ill patients, since the ambulance hall, emergency room, emergency radiology and adult emergency room are directly adjacent to each other.

The new building consists of seven floors and also contains a cardiac intensive care unit, intensive care unit, X-ray and sterile technology.

Close cut Danderyd

The decision to build a new emergency care building was made in 2014 to give Danderyds Hospital the prerequisites to fulfill its expanded mission in accordance with the Stockholm Region's future plan for health care.

Patients with minor acute injuries can still visit Närakut Danderyd who stays in their old premises.
