The leader Lyon, although heckled, confirmed his first place by winning the shock of undefeated teams, against Bordeaux (25-23), Saturday night in his stadium Gerland, the sixth day of Top 14.

Lyon won their sixth consecutive win against their dauphin Bordeaux, who remained on 5 wins and 1 draw.

They thus accentuate their lead at the top of the standings, with five points on their host, and nine on the third, the surprising promoted Bayonne, before the match between Pau and Racing Sunday noon.

Faced with Lyonnais full suit, the Bordelais have been diminished by the absence of their opener, Matthew Jalibert, hit with an arm and unavailable two months, and their hooker, Clement Maynadier, victim of a tear to a calf.

This did not stop Christophe Urios' players from making the best start to the match, and to propose a decent opposition between the leader and his dolphin.

Long before the score, they will surely regret some missed opportunities to kill the match, like this scrum penalized in front of the Lyon line (67th).

Lyon had just risen to fourteen with the yellow card inflicted on Jean-Marcellin Buttin (66th), and Bordeaux seemed close to achieving the feat of winning in Lyon and taking the lead in the Top 14.

In the wake, the center Jean-Baptiste Dubié also received a yellow card and the opener substitute Jean-Marc Doussain scored the try of the equalizer, followed by the transformation of the victory (25-23, 70th)

After waiting for the first quarter of an hour, Lyon accelerated in four minutes. After a breakthrough from center Thibaut Regard, a relay of flanker Liam Gill, the former and former Bordeaux Jean-Marcellin Buttin flattened between the poles (7-3, 15th) for his first appearance this season. Jonathan Wisniewski then added a penalty (10-3, 19th).

We thought the Lou launched. In the second half, he returned to the train, with a new penalty from Wisniewski, and a new try from Buttin (18-23, 57th).

In the first half, Bordeaux managed to sow disorder in the opposing defense, and was rewarded by his winger Geoffrey Cros who resisted the return of the defense to mark the first try (13-10, 32nd).

Bordeaux had then validated his domination in touch. Benjamin Botica stole a pass from Lambey to Baptiste Couilloud, and the back, Romain Buros concretized the counterattack (20-10, 39th). Insufficient gap to keep victory to the end.
