"Rivera seems to have been punished today ... if we behave well." This was expressed on Saturday the secretary general of the PSOE, in an act held in Vigo, in reference to the proposal made hours before by Albert Rivera on his willingness to agree with the Socialists to reach "a great national agreement" to unlock the formation of a government in Spain.

The president of the acting Government and candidate of the PSOE to the elections, Pedro Sánchez, has responded to the president of Citizens who does not ask for his support, but does not block. In this sense, he questioned his "coherence" after ensuring that "he says he rules with the PSOE, but if he adds more seats with PP and ultra-right, he throws the PSOE and, while, continues to rule with the rights."

"We do not ask for the support of Citizens", has settled the socialist leader. "What I ask is that the electoral result be respected, and that those who lost do not block the formation of government."

Sanchez has taken advantage of the act to respond to each of the leaders of the three other great parties represented in the Congress of Deputies and who on the morning of this Saturday have launched messages in electoral key in different events.

Thus, the secretary general of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, has recriminated him to return to "get rid of the great coalition", either with the PP or with Citizens. A trick that, yes, "lasts until election day", because, when it is seen that it is not real "what it does is prevent four times that there is a PSOE Government," said Sanchez.

As for Pablo Casado, the secretary general of the PSOE has said that the PP is "in hibernation" and "only appears when the president of the Community of Madrid [Isabel Díaz Ayuso] says ultra-right things because she agrees with the extreme right", in reference to the statements made by the president of Madrid after the exhumation of the remains of Francisco Franco the churches "will burn as in 36".

Sánchez has concluded that the PSOE is not defined "as opposed to anyone" and has proposed "a progressive response" to the challenges that Spain has.
