- We are choosing right now to establish ourselves either in Sölvesborg or in Helsingborg. The fact that we have chosen to look at Sölvesborg is the location of the town and that we can establish ourselves in the harbor, says Jan Svärd, CEO of the subsidiary EasyMining, to the newspaper Sydöstran who could first tell about the news.

The planned plant will purify sewage sludge from wastewater treatment plants to phosphorus by a new method. Phosphorus is used, among other things, as fertilizer in agriculture, but today a large part of all phosphorus used from Morocco or Russia is imported.

Whether the plant ends up in Sölvesborg or Helsingborg must be decided before the turn of the year. Before that, the company must make an environmental impact assessment and investment plan at both locations.
