According to the publication, two senior power engineers from the native state of Perry, Texas, were under consideration by board members.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Energy, Shailene Hines, said Perry had advised expanding the board of the Ukrainian company, but didn’t specify whether the minister had proposed his own candidates for new seats.
