Two municipalities in the Rouen agglomeration have lodged a complaint against X for endangering the lives of others after the fire at the Lubrizol chemical plant. "I filed a complaint against X (Thursday) for endangering the lives of others, and I am doing this to defend the municipality and its inhabitants as to the risks present and those to come," said Catherine Flavigny , mayor LR of Mont-Saint-Aignan, a municipality of 19,000 inhabitants, located in the prefectural perimeter of the communes impacted by the fire.

"The complaint against X for endangering the lives of others was filed Wednesday night with the prosecutor of the Republic of Rouen", for its part announced Gilbert Renard, mayor LR Bois-Guillaume (13,000 inhabitants). "The inhabitants of Bois-Guillaume, according to the districts, could be exposed to risks.We apply the principle of precaution", justified the elected one.

"Already, this fire is causing us harm, we had to clean the school yards several times, change the sandboxes, we will also empty and change the water of our outdoor pool," detailed mayor of Mont-Saint-Aignan without being able to quantify the amount of expenses incurred at this stage.
