Matar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has announced the launch of smart initiatives and services during RTA's participation in GITEX 2019, including the pilot phase of the Digital Advertising Initiative on taxi windows, smart tariff gates at Dubai Metro stations and the meter linking program. He explained that the Authority will launch the application of booking limousines and Tesla vehicles through Apple and Google stores, and the automatic speaker system through WhatsApp application, which is characterized by fast response to customers' queries without human intervention, through the use of artificial intelligence techniques and processing algorithms. The system will also highlight its efforts in employing artificial intelligence to serve customers in metro stations, such as using it to guide people who use the facilities at Dubai Metro stations.
