Brazilian Juan Stanganelli, Jr. was diagnosed with vitiligo when he was 38 years old. This is a rare skin disease, expressed in the absence of pigment in its individual areas. The disease does not cause physical discomfort and is perceived as a cosmetic defect. To support other vitiligo patients, especially children, Juan Stanganelli, Jr. knits dolls with spots on the skin and sends them to those who need comfort.
