Looking at the whole country, the figures are gloomier this year. From the turn of the year until June, 253 children must either be forced to relocate or experience one parent being evicted, according to Kronofogden.

This can be compared to 231 children in the first half of 2018. But in Södertälje, they have managed to halve the number by last year.

- We have an incredibly close collaboration with landlords, and not least the Kronofogden who is an incredibly important party. We have a fantastic collaboration on these issues, ”says Anna Flink, who is area manager at work and livelihood in Södertälje municipality.
