During a meeting with the media, Isidore Ndaywel, the president of this structure of the Catholic Church of Kinshasa, very mobilized against the former power, called for a march for October 19. A crusade, has he explained, against impunity and helplessness of justice.

" Together, let's enter the crusade against impunity and the powerlessness of justice ": it is the call launched Thursday by Isidore Ndaywel, a leader of the Lay Committee of coordination which invites the population to go down in the street the Saturday, October 19th. The CLC refers to the case of the $ 15 million retrocession on the prices of petroleum products, it also denounces the judges of the Constitutional Court, presumed corrupt in electoral disputes.

According to the Committee, the Congolese people have waited until the end of September for the reaction of the government and public institutions to what it sees as the trivialization of corruption and the misappropriation of public funds. For Isidore Ndayiwel, the CLC now demands sanctions against those denounced: " We will march to demand the end of impunity, the suspension of those involved in the embezzlement of the 15 million dollars of the Republic and the resignation without delay of the judges corrupt, unworthy of the Constitutional Court ".

According to the animators of the CLC, the crusade will be permanent and the people will have to remain mobilized.
