04 October 201920.32 The rescue to a boat of migrants in the night between 3 and 4 October took place in Italian territorial waters and not in Maltese waters. The Coast Guard states this with regard to news appearing in the press and the announcement of a question by the League about the incident. In a note, the GdF explains that it had intercepted the boat 10 miles from Lampedusa. The operation ended with the arrival of the migrants in the port of Lampedusa for the acts of competence of the police forces present on the ground.
