Japanese doctor Seiji Nishino has spent nearly 30 years researching sleep. As a result, it can have solutions that make you feel refreshed and vibrant when you wake up in the morning.

"There are several factors that prevent us from resting and sleeping well," said Francisco Sanchez-Patrell in the report, published in the Spanish newspaper "Confidencial." Many people wonder what can be done to feel energetic when waking up. For comfort, Japanese expert Seiji Nishino in his book The Art of Comfort offers the keys to solving any sleep-related problem, including difficulties caused by insomnia, fatigue, sleeplessness and lack of sleep.

Give yourself some time to wake up
Our sleep cycles consist of REM sleep and non-REM sleep. The first period is lighter and full of dreams, while the second is deep and devoid of dreams. If you wake up when the alarm rings, you may have woken up from REM. To avoid this, your doctor recommends activating two stimulants, one 20 minutes before our actual wake-up time, and another when we actually wake up.

But for a liquid to ask: Why 20 minutes? During this time period, the REM phase becomes longer and more frequent as the morning approaches. Therefore, you should make sure that the first alarm is not too strong, so as not to wake up at the wrong stage, while the alarm sound remains in the next period as usual.

Walking barefoot
Reducing the skin's external temperature is one of the most effective ways to make it easier to wake up. Although there are many ways to do this, the doctor recommends that we step on the cold ground with bare feet, since our lower limb supports contain highly efficient nerve endings to regulate temperature.

Allow light to enter the room
The critical factor between sleep and alertness is exposure to light. In fact, our eyes contain light-sensitive proteins known as melanopsin. When activated, the body releases melatonin, a hormone that regulates resting hours. So all we have to do is open our eyes to enjoy a little morning rays. It is also advisable to activate the awakening by keeping the curtains partially open at night until we wake up in the sunlight. In general, you can also have breakfast in a sunlit corner or take a morning stroll.

Chewing
According to the author, the process of chewing is linked to improving memory.Modern studies have shown that chewing is closely related to the development of neurons.Through this oral movement, the trigeminal nerve sends signals to the brain, thereby stimulating it repeatedly and strengthening the communication pathways between the brain and the nervous system.

As a result, chewing something early in the morning helps stimulate different nervous patterns between sleep and alertness. In fact, chewing increases blood flow in the brain and increases the amount of oxygen that activates alertness and improves concentration.
