Martin Starkman, commercial manager at Kronfågel, says that the error was discovered last Thursday via a consumer complaint.

Two different types of hamburgers, one with bread and one without bread, have ended up in each other's packaging. The product itself is completely harmless to eat if you are not gluten intolerant.

The recall applies to the article Max Delifresh Chicken Burger, 400 grams, with packaging day on August 27, 2019 and best before-date August 26, 2020.

Crown bird is currently investigating how it could have been like this.

- We're looking at it now. There is nothing wrong with the product and no fault during our production. What has gone wrong is that at one point in production we packed the wrong product in the wrong packaging, says Starkman.

The company regrets the incident and invites all consumers who bought the item in question to return it to the store it was purchased in. Compensation is paid in the form of a complaint.
