Collaboration 6.0 is a three-year project funded by the Swedish Growth Agency and the European Regional Development Fund.
The budget is 17 million and will help SMEs in various ways strengthen their competitiveness and focus is on technology and service development in the industry and digital service industries. The project is aimed specifically at young people, women and foreign-born entrepreneurs.
Robertfors municipality has overall responsibility and also includes Vindeln, Vännäs, Bjurholm and Nordmaling.
The project also receives some support from the municipality of Umeå.
- Umeå is, after all, the major expansion municipality and it gives a breakthrough in both positive and negative terms for us who are around. And if Umeå is on a corner, that's a chance we have to take, says Conny Nordendahl, business developer in Nordmaling Municipality.
