Dozens of detainees
The statement deplored the arrest by the Saudi State Security Intelligence Service (SSI) of al-Khodari, who has been in Jeddah for three decades.

Hamas said Khodari's eldest son was arrested without any justification as part of a campaign involving many Palestinians living in the kingdom.

Hamas has demanded Saudi authorities release Khodari, his son and all Palestinian prisoners in its jails.

The Euromed Observatory revealed that the Saudi authorities had arrested dozens of Palestinians and said it could not give an exact figure, but it counted 60 people, citing estimates that the figure was much higher.

The Observatory called on the Saudi authorities to immediately disclose the dozens of Palestinians detained in the Kingdom, who have been subjected to enforced disappearance without charges or violations.
