According to the investigation, from September 16 to October 1, the deceased was hospitalized in one of the children's medical centers in St. Petersburg, from where he was discharged for outpatient treatment, and on October 2 his condition worsened and he died.
“A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“causing death by negligence, due to improper performance by a person of his professional duties”), ”the statement says.
Investigators believe that the teenager died as a result of improper fulfillment by "unidentified medical workers of their professional duties for the timely establishment of a diagnosis and the severity of the minor's health condition."
Earlier, the newspaper Realnoe Vremya wrote that investigators sent a criminal case to the court to beat a 17-year-old teenager in a courtyard on Vagapov Street in Kazan.
