An Elabe survey for BFMTV takes stock of the different mobilizations. Nine in ten French people support the mobilization of emergencies. Support for yellow vests fell by three points.

Nearly nine in ten French support the mobilization of emergency personnel and firefighters, according to an Elabe poll for BFMTV published on Thursday, and carried out on the internet on 1 and 2 October.

Asked about their attitude towards different social mobilizations, the respondents 90% support that of emergency personnel (5% disapprove), and 89% that of firefighters (against 5%). That of the police gets the support of three quarters of respondents: 75% against 13% who oppose it.

Falling support for yellow vests

On the other hand, support for the mobilization of "yellow vests" has a lower support: less than one in two people.

They are 47% to support them, 3 points less than in the previous Elabe / BFMTV survey conducted on April 24th. 41% of respondents disapprove and 12% say they are indifferent.

65% of respondents approve of mobilization against pension reform

The mobilization against the pension reform receives the approval of 65% of respondents (against 23%). As for the reform itself, 43% of respondents are opposed to it, 32% in favor and 24% neither.

Asked about the disadvantages of the reform, 74% of the respondents cite the fact of having to work longer, 68% think that the amount of pensions will go down, 54% think that it will be necessary more and more to appeal to private organizations for to prepare for retirement, 43% that one will know only at the last moment the amount of the pensions, and 26% cite the disappearance of the special diets.

Only 4% believe that the reform will have no problem.

Finally, 61% of respondents believe that public consultation and citizen consultations on pension reform are not useful because everything has already been decided, against 38% for whom the debates will be useful (1% is not pronounced).
