Khaleejiya filed a complaint against her brother, accusing him of paying her, when she tried to take her house maid to help her clean her own house, and the victim accused her brother of controlling her and her sisters during their mother's absence outside the country for treatment.

"While I was trying to borrow my maid's maid to clean my house, my brother objected to me and pushed me on the pretext that he and my sisters needed her more than me to wash their clothes and prepare food for them," the victim told the Fujairah Misdemeanor Court.

The defendant stated that he prevented his sister from taking the maid and did not beat her or pay her.He explained that he was responsible for his sisters during the absence of their mother outside the state for treatment.He should preserve them until his mother returns, stressing that they did not control them except within the limits of their interest, namely to return home at a specific time and inform them of their whereabouts during the period. They are away from home.

The defense of the accused lawyer Amna al-Shehhi, the absence of elements of the crime in the case papers because there is no crime and physical evidence, as the sister did not submit a medical report that she was beaten.

She pointed out that the witness «sister» confirmed that the defendant paid the victim and did not slap or beat her.

The court adjourned the case for the verdict at a hearing next week.
