Statistics show that there has been an improvement between 2018 and 2019 in six of the county's thirteen municipalities, but it is still a majority of the elderly who have home care or elderly care who feel alone. Gnosjö and Eksjö are the two municipalities in the county where the least number of elderly people feel the loneliness.
In the remaining municipalities, the figures are higher. The highest proportion is in Nässjö and Habo, where as many as 62 per cent and 60 per cent respectively feel disturbed by loneliness.
Apart from loneliness, most elderly people are satisfied with the service they receive within the home service. All municipalities end up just under or above 90 per cent in their overall assessment.
