At the same time, duties will be imposed on aircraft in the amount of 10%, and on agricultural and industrial products from the EU - in the amount of 25%.
“We expect to enter into negotiations with the European Union aimed at resolving this issue in such a way that it is beneficial to American workers,” the US trade representative added.
The statement said the United States requested the WTO to meet on October 14 to endorse restrictive measures.
