France records the return of Corentin Ermenault to strengthen his endurance group in the European Track Cycling Championships, scheduled for October 16-20 in Apeldoorn (The Netherlands).

Bryan Coquard and Benjamin Thomas, regulars of the road, will also be part of the group, whose composition was announced Tuesday by the French federation (FFC), for this new stage in the race for qualification for the Tokyo Olympics.

Ermenault, 23, has won three European titles in pursuit, one in individual (2016), two in the team event (2016 and 2017).

The sprint will bring together former (Baugé, d'Almeida) and young (Helal, Landerneau, Vigier) with Quentin Lafargue, crowned world champion kilometer at the World Pruszkoxw (Poland) earlier this year.

Mathilde Gros, bronze medalist of speed in Pruszkow, will also be traveling in the Netherlands.

On the other hand, neither Pascale Jeuland, the 2010 world scratch champion who announced Monday her end of career, nor François Pervis, one of the big names of the track that had been medalist at the Worlds of Apeldoorn 2018 (3rd of team speed), have not been called.
