The Paris Bourse was back slightly Tuesday at midday (-0.26%), the weakness of inflation in the euro zone has erased the optimism of the first exchanges that had allowed the odds to pass the 5,700 points.

At 13:30 (11:30 GMT), the CAC 40 lost 14.55 points, to 5.663,24 points, in a trading volume of 1.5 billion euros. The day before, it ended up 0.66%.

The Paris rating started slightly higher, registering shortly after the opening a new annual record at 5,704.93 points. But the trend reversed shortly after inflation posted in the Eurozone in September to its lowest level in three years at 0.9%.

Wall Street was preparing for its part to open slightly higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average index futures contract edged up 0.17%, as did the broad-based S & P 500 index and the Nasdaq, with a strong technological color, of 0.30%.

The morning had yet begun in "a positive atmosphere, fueled by the positive closing of the US markets" after statements by a US official in the commercial subject, according to Michael Hewson, an analyst at CMC Markets.

According to Bloomberg news released Friday, the US administration was considering limiting US investment in China.

However, US President Peter Navarro's economic advisor questioned the truth of the news in a CNBC interview on Monday morning, saying that "more than half of the article was extremely inaccurate or just completely wrong."

Reassuring statements that had boosted European markets Monday night and Wall Street, and the positive effect lasted Tuesday morning.

On the indicators side, in addition to European inflation, the ISM manufacturing activity index for September in the United States is also on the agenda.

In terms of values, Air France-KLM benefited from a recovery of the monitoring of its title by Bank of America Merill Lynch (+ 2.54% to 9.85 euros) with the recommendation "buy". Renault earned 0.65% to 53.00 euros and Peugeot some 0.09% to 22.90 euros.

Kaufman & Broad plunged 6.79% to 34.06 euros, investors worried about the decline in reservations in the third quarter despite results in line with expectations with an increase in revenue and net income.
