“An officer of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Colonel of Justice Vladislav Vladimirovich Kapustin died in a medical facility without regaining consciousness after an attack on him,” the report said.
As noted, Kapustin fulfilled his duties in organizing the reception of citizens when he was mortally wounded.
After that, he was urgently hospitalized for the operation, but his life could not be saved.
The investigators opened a criminal case under Art. 317 of the Criminal Code of Russia - “Attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer”.
According to preliminary data, the attacker is registered in a neuropsychiatric dispensary.
In addition, during the initial communication, the detainee showed inadequate behavior.
