The national census is a national survey conducted once every five years for all people living in Japan. The 21st survey will be held on October 1 next year.
On the first day of the survey, an implementation headquarters was set up in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Takashi Takashi said, “It is a survey that will be a milestone in the 100th year since the first survey in Taisho 9” I called.
The national census has introduced a full-scale Internet survey that responds on smartphones and PCs since the last time, and in the next year's survey, it wants to increase the response rate to 50%.
To achieve the goal, the headquarters will be able to handle five new languages such as Chinese and Vietnamese for foreigners, and will add functions that make it easier for older people to read, etc. We confirmed that we would proceed with the measures.
