“The Batkivshchyna party considers Steinmeier’s formula unacceptable for Ukraine, and its signing in Minsk is a direct threat to national security, territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country,” the message said.
The party also called on Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to "urgently convene leaders of parliamentary factions and explain in detail what was signed in Minsk and what actions were agreed."
Earlier, the plenipotentiary representative of Russia at the talks, Boris Gryzlov, said that all participants in the contact group for a settlement in eastern Ukraine at a meeting in Minsk agreed on the Steinmeier formula for its implementation in Ukrainian legislation.
Zelensky also said that a new law will be developed on the special status of Donbass, which will include the Steinmeier formula.
