His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, directed the Department of Economic Development to reduce trade license fees by 20% to boost the economy and encourage investors to come to the emirate and set up projects there.

Sheikh Saif bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development, Umm Al Quwain, valued the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain to reduce the fees of commercial licenses. He said that the reduction of fees for commercial licenses will enhance investor confidence in the services provided by the emirate and show the government's commitment to support the business by providing facilities and capabilities to support the private sector and improve performance.

He stressed that the economy of Umm Al Quwain puts businessmen and investors in the list of priorities, and is looking for solutions that contribute to facilitate business in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, and expand investment and growth, and thus provide more new jobs.

The Department of Economic Development will begin to reduce trade license fees by 20% as of Tuesday, October 1, 2019.
