It was yesterday morning that two people in their 60s were killed when their car was hit by a train at an unguarded railway crossing at Granberget north of Boden. And they were not the first victims of death at the time of the transition.

Mats Lund is chairman of the road society association and is in charge of the road where the accident took place.

"It's pretty awesome"

In the 1980s, Matt's father died in the same way at the same railroad crossing. One of the people who died last Sunday is his uncle.

- My father came under the train there. And I'm the uncle of the one who went there now. It's pretty cruel, he says.
