“The issue of using hybrid power plants with electric transmissions using high-capacity energy storage devices in armament samples is being worked out, a certain backlog has already been received in this direction,” he said.
As the general explained, this will allow to increase by an order of magnitude "the energy of vehicles, expand the capabilities for layout of models and crew habitability", and also ensure the use of modern and promising weapons and new means of protection.
“At the same time, due to the movement on electric traction, a secretive silent extension to firing positions will be ensured,” he emphasized.
