Media: The White House restricted employees access to Trump's conversations

2019-09-28T01:28:05.748Z

The White House has restricted staff access to recordings of talks between US President Donald Trump and foreign representatives. It is reported by CNN with reference to sources familiar with the situation.

According to the publication, we are talking about at least two cases of concealment of transcripts. Thus, representatives of the presidential administration of the United States have limited access to recordings of Trump’s conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

According to sources, the process of hiding records began more than a year ago after large leaks from Trump's conversations with leaders of Australia and Mexico.

It is clarified that the White House has not yet commented on this situation.

On September 25, a transcript of the conversation between Trump and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky was published.
