In LPR, five children were injured in a grenade explosion

This was reported by the "Lugansk Information Center" with reference to the head of the press service of the LPR People’s Police Directorate, Yakov Osadchy.

“While playing, the children accidentally blew up one of the grenades found, as a result of which all five were injured of varying severity,” he said.

The injured were hospitalized. According to Osadchy, the ammunition belonged to the Ukrainian military, who held positions in the area during the fighting in the summer of 2014.

Earlier, the LPR accused the Armed Forces of Ukraine of shelling two settlements of the republic.
