The presidential election in Afghanistan once every five years is held with the expiration of the term of office of the incumbent President Gani, and this is the fourth time since 2001 when the Taliban administration collapsed. In the election, 16 people, including President Gani, who is aiming for re-election and Secretary General Abdullah of the administration number two, are expected to fight.

Regarding Afghanistan, the United States, which has continued its military operations for 18 years, embarked on a peace talk with the Taliban and was close to agreeing on the withdrawal of some of the American troops, but President Trump announced the cancellation of the negotiations due to the terrorism by the Taliban As the degree of confusion deepens, restoration of security is the biggest issue in the election.

The Taliban, which refused to negotiate with the Afghan government, declared obstruction of the election, and during the period, there were a series of bomb terrorist attacks aimed at speech meetings held in the capital Kabul and its surroundings.
