The Paris Bourse closed slightly higher Friday (+ 0.36%), investors limiting risk taking to end a week rich in uncertainties both political and economic.

The CAC 40 index took 20.01 points at 5,640.58 points, in an average trade volume of 3 billion euros. The day before, it ended up 0.66%.

The Parisian rating remained slightly positive throughout the session.

Over the past week, the index has lost 0.88%. It's up 19.23% since January 1st.

"The session was very calm.The market was a little wait, caught in a cloud of uncertainty," said AFP Régis Aubert, equity manager at Financière Arbevel.

"Investors are especially bounced at the mercy of the tweets of the US president" in commercial matters or newcomers to the UK on Brexit. Basically, "the market is used to it, but it continues to react to the margin" over the news, he added.

The market has experienced ups and downs this week, suffering Monday weaker indicators of activity in the euro zone and Wednesday the launch of the impeachment procedure of the US president, to rebound Thursday, in favor of a small thinning in commercial matters.

Hopes of détente then subsided after press reports that the US administration will probably not extend the respite granted to US suppliers of Chinese telecom giant Huawei, whom Washington suspects is spying for Beijing.

On Friday investors also continued to follow the political crisis in the United States which has grown, with the report of a whistleblower and tensions still very strong in the United Kingdom to just under a month of Brexit.

US indicators of the day, contrasting, did not help the markets to forge a real conviction.

Industrial orders for durable goods rose in August thanks to defense, but annual inflation was 1.4% in August for the fourth month in a row, remaining well below the 2% targeted by the Central Bank. US.
