27 September 20199.30 Thirty-one new investigations, of which over 12 related to the movement of suspected 'foreign fighters'. It is the outcome of the 'Neptune II' blitz. Supported by an Interpol team in the field, police officers, in 7 ports of the 6 participating countries (Italy, Algeria, France, Morocco, Spain and Tunisia), they carried out over 1.2 million queries and feedback on specialized Interpol databases in stolen or lost travel documents, data on criminals and stolen vehicles For Italy, the controls concerned the ports of Genoa and Palermo.
