India Spain Malaysia and other ambassador appointments September 27th 11:07

At the Cabinet meeting on the 27th, the government decided to appoint Mr. Satoshi Suzuki, who was the head of the Foreign Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a new ambassador for India.

Mr. Suzuki, who has been selected as the new Indian Ambassador, is 60 years old. He entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1984, worked as a ministerial deputy counselor in charge of crisis management, and as an international information officer, before serving as the Director of the General Foreign Policy Bureau.

In addition, Mr. Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of India and Bhutan, will be appointed as the Ambassador of Spain, and Mr. Hiroshi Oka, who served as the Director of the Middle East Africa Bureau, will be appointed as the Ambassador of Malaysia.

In addition, Mr. Takeshi Okubo, counselor of the Embassy of Israel, will be appointed as Ambassador to Lebanon, and Mr. Motoichi Terazawa, who served as Consul General Jeju of Korea, will be appointed as Ambassador of Samoa.

Mr. Isao Fukushima, who served as the International Nuclear Cooperation Office Planning Officer, will be appointed as the ambassador of the Japanese government representative of ICAO = International Civil Aviation Organization, headquartered in Montreal, Canada.

Mr. Hiramatsu will be announced on the 27th, and other ambassadors will be issued on the 2nd of next month.
