The "mobility bonus" drops to 1,500 euros for scrapping old cars and acquiring a public transport pass, but starts in 2019, with a first endowment of 5 million. The last draft of the climate law decree provides for this. The text is being considered by the other ministries, in particular Economy and Infrastructure, but yesterday Environment Minister Sergio Costa confirmed that he aims to start the bonus already this year. The 'Good Mobility Fund' will be endowed with 100 million for each of the years 2020 and 2021.

The support is reserved "for residents in the Municipalities affected by the community infringement procedures that scrape, by 31 December 2021, cars approved up to the Euro 4 class" and can be used within three years "for the purchase, also in favor of a cohabitant, subscriptions to local public transport and other services as well as for the subscription to sharing mobility with electric vehicles or reduced emissions ". The 'good mobility' does not constitute taxable income of the beneficiary and is not relevant for the purposes of the ISEE.
