The World Scientific Forum, which concluded its activities yesterday evening, is an initiative of the International Movement for Recreational Activities in the Fields of Science and Technology, a youth non-governmental and non-profit organization, aiming to develop the scientific culture among young people through organizing science and technology programs. Citizen innovators presented more than 300 innovations in the fields of sustainable development, technology, smart transportation, agriculture, water desalination, firefighting and unmanned aerial vehicles during their participation in the Malsit Abu Dhabi 2019, prompting many companies participating in the Forum, to sponsor partnerships For their projects.

Mubarak Al Shamsi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, said that the forum is a step towards discovering the future scientists of the UAE youth and spreading and developing the culture of innovation among the youth of today and future builders. He pointed out that the forum was attended by more than 2000 young scientists and innovators from 57 countries besides the UAE, who presented more than 800 innovations and scientific project, pointing out that «Abu Dhabi Technical» to ensure confidence in the souls of national buds, and enjoy the high capabilities to compete with the world's youth A comprehensive technical and engineering specialization, giving them a new impetus towards more creativity and innovation.

Al Shamsi pointed out that the Forum gathered a group of young scientists, ranging in age from 9 to 25 years, coming from Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America and Africa, to present their projects in Abu Dhabi, pointing out that the Forum provided a unique opportunity for the meeting of those responsible for the projects of STEAM (Science Technology, engineering, arts and mathematics), to exchange experiences, learn about the scientific projects of the participants, and build relationships and international cooperation with participating delegations from around the world.

Al Shamsi said that the forum included extensive seminars, and provided opportunities to communicate and discuss scientific projects, which were designed and designed by young people and creators of the world in 13 different categories, including biology, behavioral and social sciences, chemistry, computer science, earth sciences, energy and transport, engineering and analysis, environmental and electrical environmental management, sports science, medicine, health and physics. Innovative projects

The projects, presented by UAE innovators at Melsit, included a project on the use of hybrid models, combining solar and wind power, to generate power, and using a device that controls the priorities of the distribution of this energy to target devices.

Aida Rashid presented a model of a drone used to distribute pesticides on agricultural land.

The innovations of high school students included applied technology to a household desalination device, which can be used safely by individuals, a car to clean the desert, a smart boat to clean sea water, in addition to an automatic fire fighting system, and an intelligent system for reporting and locating incidents.
