“The country in which the headquarters of the international organization is located does not have the right to prevent people who go to work on the fields of this organization. It turns out that they are used as a tool, ”said the senator.

According to Dzhabarov, it is worth considering a number of less biased countries in which the UN headquarters could be located without discrimination of other states.

“There are countries with a neutral status: Sweden, partially Austria, Finland, where you can safely place this organization and there will be no discrimination. But, I think that the Americans will immediately block this decision at a meeting of the UN Security Council. Unfortunately, all countries see the US abusing its position as a host country, ”the senator added.

He also noted the small likelihood of the UN headquarters being postponed due to the unwillingness of other countries to discuss this issue.

Earlier, Rouhani spoke about his readiness to support the transfer of UN headquarters from the United States to another country, indicating that the United States has no right to prevent anyone from attending UN events.
