Rouhani announced Iran’s readiness to exchange prisoners with the United States

According to him, the American administration “raised a conversation a couple of times” that the parties should discuss the issue of prisoners.

“We were always ready and still ready (for mutual release), the ball is on the American side,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

The Iranian president said earlier that Tehran would not negotiate with Washington under sanctions.
