The inhabitants of the area: "We can't stand it anymore"
"The situation has been known for years and we have represented it several times to the police commissioner and the prefect, the area is in the hands of drunkards, junkies, illegal parking lot squads and all sorts of people. The prefect had promised us before the summer 2017 an urban space ad hoc for the Tiburtina Station, we understand the commitments but a year has passed and there is no excuse for so much immobility ". Thus the Citizens Committee of the Tiburtina Station, in a note.

"The favela around the Tiburtina station is fed by a large team of degradation that every night brings food to junkies, drunks and illegal parking attendants - the note continues - We have asked for the prohibition of feeding meals and drinks but today Municipality, prefect and police commissioner "They have not moved a finger. The inactivity of those who should protect the citizens leaves us speechless. We residents continue to not be able to park on the blue lines without paying the lace to illegal parking attendants, we continue to be unable to run freely under the house in the evening and continue to suffer raids in our buildings during the night by drunkards and stragglers, we can no longer ".
