“With the knowledge of the UN Security Council committee for the needs of the army of the Central African Republic, two consignments of Russian weapons have already been delivered free of charge,” RIA Novosti quoted Lavrov as saying.

The minister noted that over the past year and a half, Russian instructors have trained more than three thousand military personnel of the Central African Republic.

On June 6, the Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the military being sent to a UN mission in the Central African Republic.
