During the event, which took place in October 2017, the 38-year-old man injured an older man's hearing by aiming a megaphone at the man's ears and turning on the siren sound.

The elderly man, who was there to support the owners of the mink farm, suffered serious hearing problems after the incident and for that, the district court sentenced the 38-year-old to abuse.

"We know you are at home, come out animal plagues"

The 38-year-old should also have one evening searched the mink farm owner's home and set himself outside. There, along with some other people, he will shake bells and scream among other things "We know you are at home, come out animal plagues" in a megaphone. At one point, the 38-year-old man also entered the car owner's garage driveway.

The district court convicted the man of homicide and non-threatening for the following events.

The 38-year-old man is also convicted of unlawful threats after sharing a photo of a skeleton and a hangman with the mink farmer's name and the text "former mink farmer", in social media. Something that the 38-year-old in court claims belonged to an art project and that his intention was not to offend anyone.

However, the Prosecutor considered that it was an aggravating circumstance that the crimes were part of planned and organized political activism, something the district court agreed with.

In addition to spending six months in prison, the 38-year-old man, who is considered to be a leading person in a radical Swedish animal rights movement, must also pay damages to four people, where the largest sum of SEK 22,000 will go to the mink farm owner.
