A survey conducted by the International Institute for Tolerance, an initiative of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Foundation, on its Twitter page, showed the need to include the concepts of tolerance in school curricula in different countries of the world.

82% of respondents agreed that the world needs an international curriculum on tolerance, which is included in all curricula around the world, compared to 18% who think the world does not need it.

Dr. Hamad Al Shaibani, Managing Director of the International Institute for Tolerance, stressed that the UAE has become a model in the concepts of tolerance, not only in multinationals, cultures or religions, but also in its ability to transform tolerance into institutional action.

The International Institute for Tolerance aims to promote tolerance in society, build a cohesive society and strengthen the UAE's role as a model of tolerance, reject extremism and all forms of discrimination among people, as well as honor groups and entities that contribute to the establishment of values ​​of tolerance and encourage interfaith dialogue.

This year, the International Institute for Tolerance launched the Professional Diploma Program for the International Expert in Tolerance, in collaboration with the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, which targets a group of government employees.

Shaibani explained that the program is the first of its kind in the region, and is a translation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make tolerance a lifestyle, noting that he launched this program to emphasize its full commitment to the approach and aspirations Leadership, in promoting the values ​​of tolerance in societies, is one of the most important criteria for building man.

The program was launched on the occasion of the Year of Tolerance, to spread the values ​​of tolerance among society, according to a scientific plan and methodology, thus enhancing the role of the UAE as a global model of tolerance and coexistence among more than 200 nationalities.

The International Diploma of Tolerance Professional Diploma Program was designed according to international best practices. And specialized skills in tolerance.

The first unit dealt with the theme of "tolerance approach in the UAE", while the second unit, entitled "Tolerance in international conventions", to host an influential guest on the subject of tolerance from the competent international organizations, and the third unit entitled "dimensions of tolerance in the walks of life." The fourth module revolves around the concept and principles of tolerance in the UAE.It also includes a brainstorming session on how to spread the concept of tolerance.The fifth module revolves around the application of systematic tools and methods in spreading tolerance.The program also includes field scientific visits to a group of stakeholders related to tolerance.
