Al-Mazrouei explained that the idea of ​​establishing the organization started after the continuous follow-up of international reports and statistics indicating the high rate of illiteracy and the gap in the educational process, as well as the deterioration of basic educational services in areas that do not receive sufficient attention from government services in many countries of the world. Many children have access to basic education because of economic conditions, conflicts, conflicts and disasters in many countries, pointing out that according to a report by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), 50% of refugee children have access to education only Tdaia, next to the failure of basic education output indicators, according to World Bank reports in its assessment of the reality of education (2018), and here began the idea of ​​establishing the organization. Al Mazrouei stressed that cooperation and partnership with the UAE Ministry of Education and local educational authorities is at the heart of the concerns of Education Without Borders, as part of its main agenda, as these institutions have a successful experience in providing basic education for children and as a non-governmental organization.
